The Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation is delighted to continue the support for the Songkran Festival 2025 (11-13 April).

Co-organised by Home Affairs Department Kowloon City Office, Kowloon City District Office and Kowloon City District Resident Association, the joyous celebration showcased Thai culture through various activities. Guests were treated to a vibrant Thai-themed bazaar featuring traditional Thai dancing performances, electronic dance music, Muay Thai, Thai costume and water-splashing experiences, filling Kowloon City's ‘Little Thailand’ with festive spirit and blessings for the Thai New Year.

This is the second consecutive year that we supported the Thai New Year celebrations, an important part of Thai cultural identity and inscribed on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It deepens cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Thailand in addition to enriching our city’s multicultural fabric.
