The Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation is delighted to support KJRI on the Road, a community outreach initiative initiated by the Consulate-General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong and held in Sheung Shui on 16 November 2025.

In addition to assisting presenting halal meal boxes and care bags filled with essential items (food, beverages, vitamin supplements and personal care items) to more than 100 members of the Indonesian community in Hong Kong, we had the opportunity to understand from Indonesian workers their services and protection, which are crucial to our ongoing support.

The community outreach initiative has been possible thanks to the generous support from volunteers from the Indonesian Students Association in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Society for Indonesian Studies, and the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society, whose dedication and care are deeply appreciated.

We would like to sincerely thank the Consulate-General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong for leading the efforts and all volunteers for their support. We look forward to more collaborations to strengthen ties with the ASEAN community.
