Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation Extended Appreciation to Malaysian Partners for Continued Support

On 16 October 2025, the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation hosted a luncheon to extend heartfelt appreciation to the Malaysian community in Hong Kong, who has been playing a vital role in strengthening regional ties.

Mr Thomas Jefferson Wu, JP, Convenor of the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation Advisory Council, hosted the luncheon.  He was joined by distinguished partners and leaders with strong ties to the Malaysian community, including Consul-General Mr Muzambli Markam and senior consular officials from the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Hong Kong; Ms Gina Wong, Head of Students Trust Fund Subcommittee,and Ms Jo An Yee, Head of Trade & Services Subcommittee of The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong and Macau); Ms Zhan Wong, Chairperson, and Ms Janice Chew, Honorary Legal Adviser of The Malaysian Association of Hong Kong; and Mr Jinghann Goh, President of the Hong Kong Malaysian Student Association.

Guests enjoyed meaningful conversations on strengthening partnerships through strategic collaborations as well as a thoughtfully curated menu in honour of the culinary traditions of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.
