Director | Shah Faizul
Shah Faizul, Malaysian film director and cinematographer. He worked primarily as a cinematographer on projects including Dukun Doktor Dani (2016), Butak (2020), and various TV movies before making his feature directorial debut with the 2024 family drama Babah. The film, about a father’s enduring love and sacrifices for his daughter amid illness and life challenges, was a critical and commercial success. It won multiple awards at the 34th Malaysian Film Festival (FFM34), including Best Film and Best New Director (Pengarah Harapan) for Faizul, along with acting and writing honors.
