Ariel is a musician who offers violin lessons to mute 7-year old abused child Onyok of the slums . Through learning the violin, Onyok gets back his voice from a mute, desensitized existence, while Ariel discovers the immense talent in him. Eventually, both the teacher and the student reveal more of themselves, not just strengths but also failures, that otherwise may have remained unrevealed.
